The Role

 

Jordan International Bank have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Regulatory Reporting Officer To manage the timely submission of regulatory returns to the FCA, PRA, EBA and Bank of England, and manage the regulatory reporting software. Report to the Regulatory Reporting Accountant and manage the day-to-day work and activities of the regulatory reporting department.

  • In depth knowledge of the European Capital Requirements Regulations ( CRR / CRR2) and Capital Requirements Directive (CRD IV / CRD V). Familiarity with the EBA Single Rule Book as well as the BIPRU and Genpru
  • Preparation of the ALMM (c67, c68,c69, c70 & c71), LCR, NSFR and PRA 110, as well as the full suite of COREP Returns.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and workings / experience of Regdata and Beeds

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the accuracy and timely preparation and submission of all PRA, EBA, BOE and Regulated Mortgage returns.
  • Responsible for the submission of all regulatory reports, using the bank’s software, to BEEDS and Regdata.
  • Assist in the interpretation of rules and guidance pertaining to regulatory returns including assessment of the impact of such rules on regulatory returns.
  • Assist with on-going system, process and control improvements, liaising with software   vendors and IT department.
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations relating to the Bank's regulatory & financial reporting.
  • Assist with production of information to be reported in the ILAAP, ICAAP and Pillar 3 disclosures.
     
       
  • Liaise with business lines including IT, Operations, Private Banking, Structured Property Finance, Treasury and Risk functions as required.
  • Liaise with external and internal audit functions including assistance for year-end reporting purposes as and when required.
  • To provide cover for the Regulatory Reporting Officer and Regulatory Reporting Accountant, as and when required.
  • Provide assistance preparing the quarterly financial reporting to major shareholders and Central Bank of Jordan if required.
  • Any other ad-hoc work required by the CFO, Chief Accountant and the Regulatory Accountant as and when required.

 

 

Experience Required

  • Must have strong regulatory reporting experience / knowledge (including capital, liquidity and COREP) having had responsibility for preparing and submitting regulatory reports in a UK bank.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and able to handle large amounts of data. Competent using macros, VLOOKUP, pivot tables and conditional formatting.
  • At least 4 years’ experience in a similar role in financial services.
  • Qualified accountant desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Ability to set priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
